On 16 May, the Regenera4MED project participated in the “Online Welcome Meeting – Sustainable Tourism Mission”, organised as part of the Sustainable Tourism Mission of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme.
The event welcomed newly funded Thematic Projects, outlined the Mission’s objectives and actions, shared key updates, and sparked a new wave of collaboration for sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean.
Launched in April 2025, Regenera4MED has joined a dynamic community of 20 Thematic Projects. The project’s partnership is eager to contribute to the Mission’s Governance-led activities, including the MED Cluster, the Working Group on Climate Change, and the Sustainable Tourism Policy Labs.
Through its Results Amplification Strategy, the project aims to strengthen ties with other Interreg Euro-MED projects. It will share knowledge, support the Interreg Euro-MED Academy, and take part in cross-Mission activities—especially those within the Greener MED Community.
Regenera4MED has already connected with MED4REGEN, another project launched in April 2025. The latter focuses on cultural transformation for regenerative tourism and offers promising opportunities for synergy.

This first event marks an important milestone for Regenera4MED. The project now moves forward alongside the wider Interreg Euro-MED community to promote regenerative, collaborative, and transformative tourism across the Mediterranean.
